About this Project
Chanton was commissioned by TJA Ltd to carry out a full Topographical & Measured Building Survey of the property at Warren Hill Lodge, Manor Road, Loughton, IG10 4RP. Located to the South West of Loughton the property is to be comprehensively remodelled internally to create a modern design layout, utilising the full internal floor space.
- Establish Primary and Secondary Control Network.
- Topographical Survey.

Measured Building survey to include:
- Topographical Survey
- Floor Plans x 2
- External Elevations x 4
- Roof Plan x 1
- Cross Sections x 2
The Topographical Survey would show all features within the boundaries of the property at Warren Hill Lodge, as outlined on the supplied Site Layout Plan. Features to be shown would include but not be limited to, building outlines, walls, kerbs, footpaths, all changes of surface, services, with manholes and inspection covers shown with cover level only. Any trees on the site with a trunk diameter above 150mm would be shown, with trunk diameter, canopy size and approximate height. All buildings would be shown (nearest flank walls only) with levels to ridges and eaves, subject to lines of sight from site and the public highway. The site would be levelled at all points of detail and generally on a 10m grid across the site.
Note: All levels and coordinates would be related to a Local / Arbitrary Network established on-site.
Floor Plans would show all features on the Ground & First Floor within the property at Warren Hill Lodge. These would include all structural features; floors, soffits, beams, columns, door and window openings, with sill and head heights and location of any stairs. Floor Levels and Ceiling Heights would also be shown. The Floor Plans would be levelled at all key points and all levels would be related to the same datum as above.
4 No External Elevations would be produced of the property at Warren Hill Lodge. These would show all structural openings, including any windows or doors and any pipe work would also be shown. Any areas of intricate detail would be shown in outline only. Adjoining properties will be shown in outline only. All Elevations would be fully levelled and related to the same datum as above.
2 No Cross Sections would be produced to show the relationship between Ground and First Floor, and would be levelled and related to the same datum as above.
Process and Presentation of results
The completed survey will be delivered as a digital version in 2D AutoCAD and PDF format.
